I've spent more than a decade building consumer apps and developer tools — mostly on Mac, with a long detour through web. ScreenSnap Pro is the screenshot and recording tool I always wished existed: one-time payment, no subscription, beautiful by default, fast on Apple Silicon, and honest about what it does and doesn't do.

The site is bootstrapped and profitable. There's no VC funding, no investors to please, and no pressure to ship a feature you didn't ask for. Updates are free for life because that's how a tool you actually own is supposed to work.

Beyond the app, I write about the topics below. Comparisons are honest — I name the cases where competitors win, because pretending otherwise insults the reader and gets you cited by exactly nobody.
