Installation

Download and install ScreenSnap Pro on Mac or Windows in under a minute.

System Requirements

ScreenSnap Pro runs on macOS 15.0 (Sequoia) or later — native on both Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4/M5) and Intel-based Macs — and on Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit). You need at least 300 MB of free disk space on either platform.

Install on macOS

Get up and running on your Mac in just a few steps.

  1. 1Visit the ScreenSnap Pro website and purchase a license or start a free trial.
  2. 2Download the .dmg file from your confirmation email or the downloads page — choose Apple Silicon for M1–M5 Macs or Intel for older Macs. Check the changelog for the latest version details.
  3. 3Open the .dmg file and drag ScreenSnap Pro into your Applications folder.
  4. 4Launch the app from Applications or Spotlight (Cmd + Space, type "ScreenSnap").
  5. 5Grant the required Screen Recording and Accessibility permissions when prompted.

ScreenSnap Pro is a one-time purchase — no subscriptions. Your license key is delivered via email immediately after purchase.

Install on Windows

Installing on Windows 10 or 11 takes just a few clicks.

  1. 1Visit the ScreenSnap Pro website and purchase a license or start a free trial.
  2. 2Download the .exe installer from your confirmation email or the downloads page. Check the changelog for the latest version details.
  3. 3Double-click the downloaded .exe file to launch the setup wizard and follow the on-screen prompts.
  4. 4Launch ScreenSnap Pro from the Start menu or the desktop shortcut created by the installer.
  5. 5Accept any Windows permission prompts the first time you capture — ScreenSnap Pro needs screen capture access to take screenshots and record your screen.

If Windows SmartScreen shows a warning, click "More info" → "Run anyway". ScreenSnap Pro installers are code-signed, but new releases can take a short while for Microsoft to recognize.

Activate Your License

After launching for the first time, click the activation prompt in the menu bar (macOS) or system tray (Windows). Paste the license key from your purchase email and click Activate. Each license works on up to 2 computers — you can mix Mac and Windows freely.
