Export Options
Configure where screenshots are saved, copy to clipboard, and customize file naming.
Save Destination
Screenshots are automatically exported to a preselected folder on your Mac. You can change the default save location in Preferences > Export > Save Destination. Choose any folder on your system.
Copy to Clipboard
Press Cmd + C in the editor to copy the styled screenshot to your clipboard. Paste it directly into Slack, Notion, email, or any application. The pasted image includes all backgrounds, annotations, and effects.
Custom File Naming
Customize how saved screenshot files are named using the File Name Pattern setting in Preferences > Export. Use tokens to build your own naming format:

{{UUID}}— inserts a unique identifier.
Combine tokens to create patterns like screenshot-{{datetime}} or {{UUID}}-capture. The pattern applies to all new screenshots automatically.
