ScreenSnap Pro includes built-in OCR powered by the macOS Vision framework. Click the "Copy Text (OCR)" button in the preview window or from a pinned screenshot to extract all visible text and copy it to your clipboard.

OCR processes the entire screenshot image using Apple's VNRecognizeTextRequest with accurate recognition level and automatic language correction. The extracted text is copied directly to your clipboard, ready to paste anywhere.

The language is detected automatically — no configuration needed. OCR supports English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, and many Latin-script languages through the macOS Vision framework's built-in language detection.

Click the Pin button in the preview window to pin a screenshot as a floating overlay. Pinned screenshots stay on top of all windows and can be dragged anywhere on your screen.

Each pinned window has a set of control buttons:

Pin as many screenshots as you need simultaneously. Each pin is an independent floating window — drag, zoom, or close them individually. Use multiple pins to compare designs, reference documentation, or keep notes visible while you work.

Screenshots are automatically exported to a preselected folder on your Mac. You can change the default save location in Preferences > Export > Save Destination. Choose any folder on your system.

Press `Cmd + C` in the editor to copy the styled screenshot to your clipboard. Paste it directly into Slack, Notion, email, or any application. The pasted image includes all backgrounds, annotations, and effects.

Customize how saved screenshot files are named using the File Name Pattern setting in Preferences > Export. Use tokens to build your own naming format:
