Area Capture (Editor)
Capture an area and open it directly in the editor for styling and annotation.
Capture to Editor
Area Capture (Editor) works just like a regular area capture, but the screenshot opens automatically in the ScreenSnap Pro editor right after capture. This lets you immediately add annotations, backgrounds, and styling without any extra steps.
- 1Select "Area Capture (Editor)" from the menu bar or use its assigned shortcut.
- 2Click and drag to select the area you want to capture.
- 3Release the mouse button — the editor opens instantly with your screenshot.
When to Use
Use Area Capture (Editor) when you know you want to style or annotate the screenshot right away. For quick captures that go straight to the clipboard or a file, use the standard Area Capture instead.
