Select the Spotlight tool from the toolbar. Click and drag to define the area that should remain fully visible. Everything outside the selected area is dimmed with a dark overlay, drawing the viewer's attention directly to the spotlighted region.

Adjust the dimming opacity of the surrounding area from the properties panel. A higher opacity creates a more dramatic spotlight effect. Hold `Shift` while drawing to create a perfect square spotlight.

Dim everything except a selected area to focus attention.

Select the Text tool from the toolbar or press `9`. Click anywhere on the canvas to place a text box, then type your text.

Choose from 7 text styles: Standard, Rounded, Monospaced, Outlined (white outline), Boxed, Rounded Boxed, and Monospaced Boxed. Adjust font size (16–128px) and color from the properties panel. The boxed styles add a colored background behind the text for label-like readability. Text supports multiple lines and can be rotated via the rotation handle.

Select the Pixelate tool from the toolbar. Click and drag to define the area. The content is replaced with a mosaic of large colored blocks, making the original content unrecognizable.

Use the block size slider (8–40px) to control the mosaic resolution. Larger blocks make content more thoroughly redacted. Smaller blocks create a finer mosaic that still obscures detail. A small random variance is applied to each block for added security.
