Select the Callout tool from the toolbar. Click and drag to place a callout bubble on your screenshot. Type directly inside the callout to add your text.

Adjust the border color and thickness from the properties panel. The callout has a white background with a pointer (tail) that you can set to point in 4 directions — top, right, bottom, or left. Drag the pointer handle to adjust its position along the edge. Type directly inside the callout to add or edit text.

Select the Counter tool from the toolbar or press `0`. Click anywhere on the canvas to place a numbered circle. Each click automatically increments the number, so you get 1, 2, 3, etc. in sequence.

Choose the circle fill color from the properties panel. The number is displayed in white inside the colored circle with a white border.

Drag counters to reposition them on the canvas. If you delete a counter in the middle of a sequence, subsequent counters keep their numbers. The counter resets when a new image is loaded.

Select the Text tool from the toolbar or press `9`. Click anywhere on the canvas to place a text box, then type your text.

Choose from 7 text styles: Standard, Rounded, Monospaced, Outlined (white outline), Boxed, Rounded Boxed, and Monospaced Boxed. Adjust font size (16–128px) and color from the properties panel. The boxed styles add a colored background behind the text for label-like readability. Text supports multiple lines and can be rotated via the rotation handle.
