Rectangle Tool
Draw outlined rectangles to highlight areas of your screenshot.
Draw a Rectangle
Select the Rectangle tool from the toolbar or press 2. Click and drag on the canvas to draw an outlined rectangle. The rectangle has a colored border with no fill, making the content beneath it fully visible.
- 1Select the Rectangle tool from the toolbar.
- 2Click and drag to define the rectangle area.
- 3Release to place the rectangle.
Customization
Adjust border color and thickness from the properties panel.
Hold Shift while drawing to create a perfect square.
Use Cases
Outlined rectangles are ideal for highlighting UI elements, calling out specific areas of interest, or framing content you want to draw attention to without obscuring it.
